Crystal Shores in Bath Township Ohio is a community of roughly 70 custom-built luxury homes situated next to Crystal Lake. These homes were constructed from 1988-2006 by builders including Alden, Dwight Yoder Custom Homes, Schleider, and Baughman.

Facades include Tudor, Nantucket-inspired, Georgian, Mediterranean, French country, English manor, and traditional brick front colonial. Many boast full brick surround.

These colonial and ranch homes range from 4,800-10,000+ square feet, 4-6 bedrooms and 4-8.5 bathrooms.

Homes in Crystal Shores are exquisitely appointed with amenities like open floorplans, dramatic two-story foyers with open staircases, hardwood flooring, high ceilings, extensive millwork, vaulted or two-story great rooms with fireplaces and floor-to-ceiling windows, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms and/or private dens with built-ins, sunrooms, back staircases, and laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets. Granite or quartz kitchens feature breakfast bar seating, tile backsplash, breakfast bar, top-of-the-line appliances, walk-in pantry, and dinette area. Owner’s retreats include walk-in closets and bathrooms with tiled walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Full finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) are complete with theater or media rooms, kitchens/kitchenettes, bars, exercise rooms, and storage areas. Homes offer 3-4 car side-entry garages. Some also have detached garages for additional parking and even guest houses.

Homesites mainly range from 1 to 2.7 acres. There are a few larger lots measuring 3.6 and 4.5 acres.

Nearly every backyard is wooded. A number of homes also have wooded side and front yards, providing the ultimate in privacy.

There is one entrance to this development off Crystal Lake Rd via N Shore Dr. It is flanked on either side by lush landscaped beds with paver stones. In the middle of the street is a divided median with a landscaped island.

Crystal Shores also encompasses the streets of Crystal Point Dr, Mapleleaf Hill, Beechnut Hill Dr, Winterberry Dr, and Tulip Dr.

Crystal Shores is one of the few developments in Bath serviced with both public water & sewer (no well or septic!). It also has curbs throughout—another rarity in the township.

This neighborhood is serviced by the top-ranked Revere Local School District with bussing to St. Hilary’s and the prestigious Old Trail School.

Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Crystal Shores are approximately $350 annually.

A parcel roughly 180 feet wide with power lines borders part of the northern side of the subdivision and then cuts between Beachnut Hill and Winterberry drives.

Bordering this development to the south and east is Regency Park office park. To the north is the development of Millvale Estates, and to the northeast is the Sanctuary of Bath luxury subdivision.

The luxury subdivision of Crystal Shores in southern Bath Ohio is located off Crystal Lake Rd, .8 miles north of Medina Rd.

Highways are accessible in 3 min to I-77, 11 min to I-271, and 14 min to I-71 and I-80/Turnpike.

Summit Mall and shopping center is only 7 min away. Anchored by Dillard’s and Macy’s, it boasts over 125 of your favorite retailers like Apple, J. In addition, you’ll find an abundance of shopping and dining options nearby like Dick’s Sporting Goods, Kohl’s, Target, Lowe’s, and Home Depot as well as Winking Lizard Peninsula, Bomba Taco, Michael Angelo’s Winery, Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse, and more.

Local outdoor recreation amenities are plentiful! Just 9 min away is Allardale Park with hiking and equestrian trails, a picnic shelter and indoor lodge. Ten min away is the 33,000-acre Cuyahoga Valley National Park, which includes the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad. Bath Nature Preserve is 11 min north with hiking and equestrian trails, two ponds for catch-and-release fishing, sled riding, and cross country skiing. The Cleveland Metroparks’ Hinckley Reservation is a 12 min drive with 2,803 acres including twenty miles of all-purpose trails, bridle trails, a 90-acre lake (Hinckley Lake) with a boathouse for water sport rentals, a beach, swimming pool, two smaller fishing ponds also used for ice fishing and skating come winter, stone carvings at Worden’s Ledges, and its most notable feature–the porous sandstone outcroppings of Whipp’s Ledges. Hinckley Reservation is also home to the annual festival known as Buzzard’s Day, which celebrates the return of the turkey vulture to the area around mid-March. Eastwood Preserve is a 13 min drive, offering 28 acres with an educational facility, hiking trails, a fishing lake, and a community garden. Richfield Heritage Preserve is 15 min away, offering 336 wooded acres with hiking trails that include a portion of the Buckeye Trail, winding streams, two lakes for fishing and non-motorized watersports, and a horse barn with five miles of bridle trails.

If you’re a golfer, you are 12 min to Loyal Oak Golf Course and, 14 min to J. E Good Park, and 15 min to Mud Run Golf Course. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, you’re 13 min to The Sharon Golf Club and 14 min to St. Bernard Golf Club.

Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts are a 20 min drive for skiing and tubing during the winter months.
