North Fork Estates is a community of 18 custom-designed luxury homes in Bath Township (Akron), Ohio. This subdivision is located off the west side of N Cleveland Massillon Rd, 0.2 miles south of W Bath Rd, and comprises the residential streets of N Fork Dr and Rambling Way.

This exquisite subdivision was developed by Dan Marchetta and custom-built from 1981-1986. Other builders include Slifko.

Facades showcase Colonial Revival/Neo-Colonial, Contemporary, French Country, Georgian, and Tudor architecture, with facades predominantly constructed of stately full brick. Some homes boast a full brick surround.

These individually designed 1-story (ranch) and 2-story homes range from 3,000-5,000 above-grade square feet with 3-7 bedrooms and 3.5-6.5+ bathrooms. Including finished basements, these homes can total 6,000 square feet.

First floor amenities and principal rooms include soaring vaulted and beamed ceilings, extensive millwork, hardwood flooring, two-story foyers with open staircases, back staircases, private dens with built-ins, formal living/sitting rooms, formal dining rooms, sunrooms, and fireplaced great rooms (some have coffered, vaulted or beamed ceilings), and spacious kitchens featuring extensive counter space and cabinetry, a center island, breakfast bar, walk-in pantry, and dinette area.

Owner’s retreats (most are on the second floor) include walk-in closets and bathrooms with tiled walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed commodes.

Lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) are finished with theater or media rooms, kitchens/kitchenettes, bars, and exercise rooms.

Side-entry garages accommodate 3-4 cars. Most homes have elegant circular driveways for guest parking and unobstructed garage access.

Homes have well water. This is one of the few neighborhoods in Bath with public sewer (no septic!).

Just 9 min away is Allardale Park with hiking and equestrian trails, a picnic shelter and indoor lodge. Bath Nature Preserve is also 8 min away with hiking and equestrian trails, two ponds for catch-and-release fishing, sled riding, and cross-country skiing. The Cleveland Metroparks’ Hinckley Reservation is an 11 min drive with 2,803 acres including twenty miles of all-purpose trails, bridle trails, a 90-acre lake (Hinckley Lake) with a boathouse for water sport rentals, a beach, swimming pool, two smaller fishing ponds also used for ice fishing and skating come winter, stone carvings at Worden’s Ledges, and its most notable feature–the porous sandstone outcroppings of Whipp’s Ledges. Eastwood Preserve is 11 min, offering 28 acres with an educational facility, hiking trails, a fishing lake, and a community garden. Also 11 min away is Richfield Heritage Preserve, offering 336 wooded acres with hiking trails that include a portion of the Buckeye Trail, winding streams, two lakes for fishing and non-motorized watersports, and a horse barn with five miles of bridle trails.

Golfers are 14 min to Loyal Oak Golf Course, 15 min to J. E Good Park Golf Course, and 16 min to Mud Run Golf Course. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, you’re 13 min to St. Bernard Golf Club and 17 min to The Sharon Golf Club.

Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts are a 20 min drive for skiing and tubing during the winter months.
