About Bath Highlands Real Estate
Bath Highlands is a community of 17 custom-built luxury homes in southern Bath Township (Akron), Ohio.
This subdivision is located off the north side of Ghent Rd, 0.6 miles southeast of N Cleveland Massillon Rd, and just east of I-77. It comprises the residential streets of Highlands Dr and South Ridge Dr.

This 50-acre community was developed and primarily built by Boggs & Sons from 1991-2001, with the final home constructed in 2017. Other builders include Briarwood and Glen Smith Builders.
The original building requirements stipulated homes be a minimum of 3,000 square feet and include a side or rear-entry garage.
Bath Highlands homes include 1-story (ranch), 1.5-story and 2-story floorplans ranging from 3,200-5,700 above-grade square feet with 4-5 bedrooms and 3.5-5.5 bathrooms. Including finished basements, these homes can total 9,300 square feet.
Facades include Contemporary and Transitional architecture. Some are all full brick surround.
First floor amenities and principal rooms include dramatic two-story foyers with open staircases, hardwood or LVP flooring, extensive millwork, solid-core doors, formal living and dining rooms, executive dens with built-ins, sunrooms, and fireplaced great rooms with vaulted or two-story ceilings that are open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, center islands, breakfast bars, walk-in panties, and dinette areas.
Owner’s retreats (most are on the first floor) include sitting areas, walk-in closets with built-ins, and ensuite bathrooms with tiled walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed commodes.
Full finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) are equipped with theater or media rooms, kitchens/kitchenettes, bars, wine cellars, and exercise rooms.
Side-entry garages accommodate 3-6 cars.
Homes have well water and septic systems.
Living is extended outdoors with expansive decks and/or patios, gazebos, water features, fire pits or fireplaces, outdoor kitchens, and even in-ground pools with pool houses.
Lots mainly range from 1.4 to 3.8 acres. There is also one lot measuring 6.8 acres.
Nearly every backyard is heavily wooded. Some homes also have wooded side and/or front yards, offering the ultimate in natural privacy.
⚠️Yellow Creek meanders along the north end of the community, offering ravined topography with rolling views. Creek-adjacent properties have several nearby flood zones. View FEMA Flood Map.
Both Highlands Dr and South Ridge Dr end in permanent cul-de-sacs.
As with most Bath subdivisions, there are no curbs or sidewalks.
With no connection to another development, traffic is limited to residents and their guests.
