The Timbers is a residential subdivision of 59 luxury homes in Brecksville, Ohio with lush, wooded backyards. This community is located off the east side of Brecksville Rd, one mile north of OH-82/Chippewa Rd, and comprises the streets of Barkleigh Cir, Crabtree Ln, Timber Trl, Thorntree Dr, and 8419 Brecksville Rd.


Homes were mainly built between 1987-1996, with the final homes built in 2001, 2008, 2013 and 2018.
Builders include Glen Smith Builders, Hartland Builders, Lustik, Ream Builders, and Sherwood Builders. Many of the older homes have since been updated.
Most facades are traditionally styled with full brick or partial timber/brick Tudor designs, but there are a few contemporary/transitional styles.
Homes are mainly 1.5-story and 2-story styles offering 3,000-5,400 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-5 bathrooms.
Homes are elegantly appointed with desirable amenities including open floorplans, custom ceilings, hardwood and ceramic tile flooring, crown moulding, first-floor laundry rooms with cabinets and utility tubs, dramatic two-story foyers with open staircases, formal living and dining rooms, private dens with built-ins, guest/in-law suites, sunrooms, and fireplaced great rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows that open to large kitchens featuring an abundance of granite or quartz countertops, a tile backsplash, breakfast bar, pantry, and dinette area. Finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) are complete with media/theater rooms, kitchens/kitchenettes, bars, and exercise rooms. Side-entry garages maximize curb appeal and accommodate 2-4 cars.
Homesites measure ≥94′ wide and range from 0.46 to 0.92 acres, but there are also several homes over 1 acre and one home on 8.73 acres.
Nearly every backyard is heavily wooded, offering the ultimate in natural privacy, sylvan views, shade, and the soothing melodies of songbirds.
Outdoor living spaces include covered living areas, professional landscaping, custom decks and/or patios, and fire pits.

Several creeks intersect the northeast and northwest ends of the development. Generally considered an environmental asset, streams enhance the natural setting with scenic rolling topography and opportunities for wildlife viewing.

The entrance to Timber Trl is flanked by landscaped beds with mature trees. In the center of the street is a long divided median with landscaping and stacked stone signage.
Thorntree Dr, Crabtree Ln, and Barkleigh Cir have cul-de-sacs.
Streets are enhanced by curbs and sidewalks.
This neighborhood is served by the Brecksville–Broadview Heights City School District, which is consistently rated as one of the best school districts in the state.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at The Timbers of Brecksville are approximately $50 annually.
This subdivision adjoins the community of Rockledge Estates via Timber Trl.
