Located in southwestern Brecksville Ohio, Mount Vernon is a wooded subdivision of 53 elegant custom-built homes within a mile of a paved Metroparks’ trail.
Homes were constructed by builders including Callas Building Company, Lee Homes Inc, and River Valley Builders Inc between 1979-1995.
Homes in Mount Vernon include ranch, cape cod and colonials that mainly range from 3,100-4,800 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-4 bathrooms.
Most facades are traditionally styled as Tudor or stately full brick.

Forge Dr has an eyebrow (partial) cul-de-sac, Shenandoah Dr has a full cul-de-sac, and Potomac Dr is a cross street.

Mount Vernon is located in southwest Brecksville Ohio off E Edgerton Rd, between Barr Rd and Highland Dr.
Highways are conveniently accessible with just 4 min to I-77, 11 min to I-80/Turnpike, and 13 min to I-271.
While the proximity to I-77 is convenient, the northeast end of the subdivision is only 0.3 miles west of the interstate. Homes are at a higher elevation than the highway and are separated by trees and two cul-de-sac streets, but the community may still experience noise pollution.
Downtown Brecksville is only 6 min away.

Cuyahoga Valley National Park is 11 min away with 33,000 acres including the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.
