This subdivision is located off the west side of Brecksville Road, directly south of Valley Pkwy, encompassing the main/entrance street of Greystone Pkwy, Glen Eagle Dr, the cul-de-sac streets of Morningside Dr, Silver Creek, Windstream Ln and Woodbridge Ln, nine homes along the western end of Westview Dr (house numbers 6628-6441), and one home at 9656 Davidson Dr.

Homes were constructed by builders including Crestmont Construction, J & M Salupo, and Perozeni Construction between 1987-1999, with the most recent home completed in 2024.

Elegant facades feature full brick, partial brick/stone and cedar, and Tudor styles.

Homes mainly range from 2,900-5,700 square feet with 3-4 bedrooms 2.5-4.5 bathrooms.

Homes are appointed with hardwood and tile flooring, dramatic two-story foyers with turned/curved staircases, spacious formal dining rooms and living rooms, private dens, large laundry rooms with sinks and cabinets, and fireplaced great rooms (some have vaulted ceilings and skylights) that open to kitchens with breakfast bars and dinette area. Oversized owner’s suites include vaulted/deep trayed ceilings, walk-in closets and bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking/jetted tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) are complete with media rooms, kitchens/kitchenettes, bars, and/or exercise rooms. Side-entry garages accommodate 3 cars.

Homesites range from 0.48 to 2.86 acres, with most lots sized between 0.48 and 0.70 acres.

Many backyards are wooded, providing natural privacy, shade, lush views, and soothing birdsongs.

Outdoor oases include professional landscaping, stone walls, water features, firepits/fireplaces, verandas, and custom patios and/or decks.

A small tributary stream to Chippewa Creek meanders across several properties on Greystone Pkwy and one on Morningside Dr (dashed blue line on map above).

The north side of Greystone Pkwy abuts a strip of Metroparks’ property containing Valley Parkway and its All Purpose Trail, which is walkable within 10 minutes.

The entrance street of Greystone Pkwy is ornamented by a landscaped bed with paver surround and community signage.

Country Woods is also accessible through the adjoining community of Harvel Estates, which has its own entrance off Brecksville Rd via Westview Dr.

Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Country Woods are approximately $100 annually.

Approximately a half-mile south on Brecksville Rd is Sherwin-Williams’ new R&D Headquarters and the residences of Canvas at Valor Acres.

Location & Nearby Amenities

The subdivision of Country Woods is located in central Brecksville, off the west side of Brecksville Rd, just south of Valley Pkwy.

Access to highways is convenient with just 6 min to I-77, 8 min to I-80/Turnpike, and 12 min to I-271.

I-77 runs just beyond the west end of this development. There is a treed easement and sound barrier wall between them, but the subdivision may still be subjected to interstate noise.

Downtown Brecksville is only 5 min north.

In addition to the parklike surroundings of the development itself, there are endless opportunities for hiking, biking, picnicking, fishing, kayaking/canoeing horseback riding, winter sports, exploring nature, and wildlife viewing. On the opposite side of Brecksville Rd is Brecksville Reservation, the largest of the Cleveland Metroparks’ reservations offering scenic gorges, caves and an extensive system of trails, including a section of the Buckeye Trail. Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate a 10 min walk to the paved Bridle Loop Trail, which runs along the south side of Valley Pkwy! Golfers are only 4 min to Sleepy Hollow, 9 min to Seneca, 10 min to Briarwood, and 16 min to Ironwood and Valleaire Golf Courses.
