Located in western Brecksville Ohio, Crane Creek Park is a subdivision of 40 elegant custom-built homes close to the Elementary, Preschool, Montessori, and paved Metroparks’ trail.
Homes were constructed by builders including Almond Quality Homes, Cosmopolitan Homes, Petros Homes, and Scholz between 1992-1999, with the final two homes built in 2004 and 2007.
Homes in Crane Creek Park include ranch, cape cod and colonials that mainly range from 3,200-6,700+ square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-5.5 bathrooms.
Most facades are traditionally styled with stately full brick.
Being that homes were constructed by numerous builders, homes vary in features. Common amenities include open floorplans, dramatic two-story foyers with open staircases, hardwood flooring, custom ceilings, two-story/vaulted great rooms with fireplaces and floor-to-ceiling windows, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms and/or private dens, and first-floor laundry rooms with utility tubs. Large granite kitchens feature an oversized island, tile backsplash, breakfast bar seating, walk-in pantry, and dinette area. Owner’s suites include walk-in closets, and spa-like baths with custom tiled walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) are complete with media rooms, kitchens/kitchenettes, bars, wine cellars, and exercise rooms. Enhancing homes’ curb appeal are side-entry garages that accommodate 2-3 cars.
Treed or wooded backyards attract songbirds and offer privacy, lush natural beauty, and shade for significantly cooler al-fresco enjoyment on your deck/patio during hot summer days.
Homesites are 100′ wide and generally sized from 0.46 to 0.76 acres. There are also some larger lots over 1 acre and one lot measuring 2.37 acres.
The entrance street of Crane Creek Pkwy is off the south side of Oakes Rd, 0.3 miles west of Barr Rd.
The development is shaped like an upside-down capital “Y,” offering two cul-de-sac streets: Mallard Dr and Pin Tail Dr.
The streets in Crane Creek Parkt are enhanced by street trees, curbs and sidewalks.
For those concerned about health and safety a row of high voltage (HV) steel lattice tower transmission lines run just beyond the western end of the subdivision. Fortunately, the towers are obstructed from backyard views by mature trees.
This neighborhood is serviced by the Brecksville–Broadview Heights City School District, which is consistently rated as one of the best school districts in the state. The Elementary and Preschool are conveniently 1.2 miles west on Oakes Rd. The middle/high school campus is a10 min drive. South Suburban Montessori School is also in the same vicinity.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Crane Creek Park are approximately $150 annually.

Convenient Location
Crane Creek Park is located in western Brecksville Ohio off Oakes Rd, 0.3 miles east of Barr Rd, directly west of I-77.
Highways are conveniently accessible with just 6 min to I-77, and 14 min to I-80/Turnpike and I-271.
While the proximity to I-77 is convenient, the subdivision is directly west of the interstate. Homes are at a higher elevation than the highway and are separated by at least a treeline, if not woods, but the community may still experience noise pollution.
Downtown Brecksville is only 6 min away.
There are endless opportunities for hiking, biking, picnicking, fishing, kayaking/canoeing horseback riding, winter sports, exploring nature, and wildlife viewing. Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate being 1 mile (≤18 walk) to the Metroparks’ Valley Parkway All-Purpose Trail, which adjoins the 81-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail to the east, and extends to west through Mill Stream Run Reservation all the way to Rocky River Reservation.
Brecksville Reservation (3 min drive), the largest of the Cleveland Metroparks’ reservations, offers scenic gorges, caves and an extensive system of trails, including a section of the Buckeye Trail.
Cuyahoga Valley National Park is 10 min away with 33,000 acres including the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.
The Brecksville Community Center is 5 min away with 64,000 square foot state-of-the-art recreation facility, which includes an indoor olympic-sized swimming pool, hot tub, saunas, a 5,000 square-foot fitness center, an elevated track, batting cage, indoor basketball and volleyball courts, an outdoor playground, full-sized outdoor basketball court, walking & jogging trails, and a brand new outdoor aquatics facility with pool, water features, multiple slides, zipline, rock wall and a lazy river.
If you’re a golfer, you are only 5 min to Seneca and Sleepy Hollow, 8 min to Briarwood, and 13 min to Ironwood and Valleaire Golf Courses.
