True to Brickhaus’ architecture, the ultra-modern 4-story facades of glass, stucco, and wood paneling stand prominently amongst the river’s exposed shale cliffs.
Three levels of outdoor living space—two levels of decks with guardrails of galvanized steel or glass and a rooftop terrace totaling 790-968 square feet—offering panoramic vistas of the river, Detroit bridge, Emerald Necklace Marina and its forested backdrop. Inside, Eleven River townhouses range from 3,200-3,800 square feet with 2-4 bedrooms and 2.5-4 bathrooms.
A split-level floor arrangement with walls of glass, floating staircases, and glass elevators maximizes waterfront site lines.
These luxury residences feature solid core doors and high-end materials, appliances and fixtures throughout.
The original floorplan designated shared living spaces on levels 2 and 3. Level 2 features a fireplaced great room with 11.5′ ceilings and large windows overlooking the river. Level 3 is the main living level of open-concept design: a recessed living room with 12.4′ ceilings, floor-to-ceiling riverfront windows, and a custom linear fireplace; steps lead up to the dining area and kitchen.
Aside from the main living levels, generally as described above, the remaining floors of each townhouse are unique. Brickhaus’ Clearspan Construction method—no load-bearing features other than the exterior walls—allows homeowners to completely customize the interior space. Lower levels may be utilized as a theater room, fitness room, den, and/or bedroom (has egress windows). The fourth floor may be entirely occupied by an owner’s suite.
Residences hold the “Gold Star” eco-standard for green building from the National Association of Home Builders. They were constructed using the most advanced sustainable and eco-friendly technology including eco-conscious bamboo flooring, Energy Star® – Weather Shield Low-E windows, Smart Home Technology, and geothermal heating and cooling. In fact, Eleven River was the first multifamily development in Northeast Ohio to feature geothermal!
The community occupies the street of the same name, Eleven River (sometimes called Eleven River Rd or Eleven River Pt). It is accessible through the entrance of The Westlake condo building off Lake Rd. As the driveway curves to the right, it descends under a low-slung archway of the remaining 1910 Rocky River Bridge and beneath the current Detroit Ave bridge. Continue straight ahead into the back of the community.
The back side of townhomes has access to your 2-car garage, a service door, parking space for guests, and a stairway leading down to the dock so friends can meet you at your boat or lower deck.
