The community was designed by Dimit Architects and constructed between 2013-2014 by Brickhaus Partners  known for award-winning eco-friendly luxury residences ​and​ ​distinctive​ ​architectural​ ​designs. Brickhaus’ portfolio of luxury townhome projects also includes Eleven River (just downriver south of the Detroit bridge) and 700 Lake in Rocky River, 95 Lake and One Seventeen in Cleveland’s Edgewater neighborhood, and 27 Coltman in Little Italy.

Exteriors feature a classic modernist design with durable, sustainable building materials.

Multi-level outdoor living spaces—a second-level cantilevered deck with glass walls and a rooftop terrace totaling roughly 400 square feet—offer vistas of the river, marina, and/or trestle bridge. Private rooftop decks may include living gardens, awnings, outdoor kitchens, and/or fireplaces.

Inside, Clifton Pointe 3-story townhouses range in size from 1,800-3,200 square feet with 2-3 bedrooms and 2.5-3.5 bathrooms.

Brickhaus’ Clearspan Construction method—no load-bearing features other than the exterior walls—allows homeowners to completely customize the interior space. 

Front entryways may be on the ground level or second floor.

While layouts may vary slightly, generally the entry level has a flex room (office, bedroom, or fitness area) with clerestory windows to maximize wall space, a half or full bathroom, and access to the attached 2.5-car garage. Garages back to private drives.

Take the elevator and/or steps to the open-concept main living level with hardwood floors, a dining area, kitchen, and living room with high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, a custom linear fireplace, and access to the spacious cantilevered deck.

Modern open-tread steps lead to the third level with a guest bedroom, full bath, laundry closet, and owner’s suite (some have balconies) with walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom.

Residences epitomize contemporary luxury with clean lines, solid core doors, and high-end materials, appliances and fixtures throughout. Clifton Pointe townhomes are located off the streets of Sloane Ave and Sloane Subway. The main section encompasses 17 units at 1300 Sloane Ave. An additional 5 units are located to the north at 18828 Sloane Subway.

Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees for Clifton Pointe are approximately $495 quarterly, which include landscaping and snow removal.

Residences are served by the highly-rated Lakewood City School District. NOTE: The city of Lakewood is a “walking school district,” meaning there is no bussing to city schools. All schools are within walking or biking distance of the children they serve. 

Directly north is the prestigious community of Clifton Park and across the river are The Villas at The Westlake.

Fitness enthusiasts are only a 3 min bike or 6 min walk from The Metroparks’ Valley Parkway All-Purpose Trail, which extends down to Mill Stream Run Reservation and over to the 81-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail. Rocky River Reservation offers 2,520 acres with picnic areas, play areas, sledding hills, ball fields, nature trails, paved trails, nature center, stables and bridle trails, a marina, fishing areas, boat rentals, waterfalls and lagoons, and three golf courses. 

The 31-acre lakefront Lakewood Park (6 min drive) features an outdoor pool, skatepark, sport courts/fields, picnic pavilions, Solstice Steps, and a bandshell that hosts free music concerts and movie nights during the summer.

Boaters will appreciate proximity to The Marina at the Westlake (2 min drive, 4 min bike) Emerald Necklace Marina (3 min drive, 6 min bike), and Cleveland Yachting Club (4 min drive, 10 min bike) – one of the oldest and most prestigious yachting clubs in the nation. CYC is home to more than 300 sail and powerboats and known for its beautiful setting, family-friendly atmosphere, and first-class facilities including a restaurant, bar, docks, fuel, and a pool.

The premier dining and social club, The Clifton Club, is a 4 min drive with a 3-story historic clubhouse and private beach access with a playground and lakefront venue.
