About Sanctuary of Bath
Sanctuary of Bath is a community of 90 custom-built luxury homes in southern Bath Township (Akron), Ohio, just minutes from the retail offerings of Montrose. This subdivision is located off the west side of Wye Rd, between Granger Rd and N Cleveland Massillon Rd, and comprises the streets of Ghentwood Dr, Pine Point Dr, Sanctuary Dr, San Pier Dr, Timber Creek Dr, and the east end and cul-de-sac of Yellow Creek Rd W.

This subdivision was developed by Dan Marchetta and built from 1985-1992, with the final homes constructed in 2001 and 2002. Most homes have since been renovated.
Facades include Tudor, French Normandy, southern Georgian, and contempory styles. Many are all full brick surround.
These colonial and ranch homes range from 4,300-9,000 square feet with 3-6 bedrooms and 4-6.5 bathrooms.
Homes are exquisitely appointed with amenities like open floorplans, dramatic two-story foyers with open staircases, marble and hardwood flooring, extensive millwork, vaulted or two-story great rooms with fireplaces and floor-to-ceiling windows, formal living and dining rooms, private dens with built-ins, sunrooms, and laundry rooms with cabinets. Kitchens feature granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, center islands, breakfast bar seating, walk-in pantry, and dinette area. First or second-floor owner’s retreats include vaulted ceilings or crown molding, walk-in closets and bathrooms with tiled walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Full finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) are complete with theater or media rooms, kitchens/kitchenettes, bars, exercise rooms, and storage areas. Side-entry garages accommodate 3-4 cars.
This development is one of the few in Bath serviced with both public water & sewer (no well or septic!).
Homesites range from 1 to 1.9 acres. Nearly every backyard is lightly treed to partially or heavily wooded. Some homes also have wooded side and/or front yards for additional privacy.
Living is exended outdoors with expansive decks and/or patios, water features, fire pits or fireplaces, outdoor kitchens and even in-ground pools.
Seven homes near the entrance encircle a large fountained pond, where waterfront residences can paddleboard or paddleboat from their backyard. Note: Pond is also shared with Sparrow Pond Condos waterfront units.
Several tributary streams of Yellow Creek intersect this subdivision, offering scenic rolling topography to stream-adjacent properties. Homes along the north end of the community are close to, but not within, a designated flood zone. View FEMA Flood Map.
The entrance to Sanctuary Dr is flanked on either side by lovely landscaped beds.
Ghentwood Dr, Pine Point Dr, San Pier Dr, Timber Creek Dr and Yellow Creek Rd W have cul-de-sacs.
This neighborhood is served by the top-ranked Revere Local School District with bussing to St. Hilary’s and the prestigious Old Trail School.
To the west, Yellow Creek Rd adjoins Millvale Estates, which has its own entrance off Granger Rd.
Bordering this development to the southwest is the luxury subdivision of Crystal Shores.
Other nearby luxury subdivisions include Robinwood Hills and North Fork Estates.
