Prairie Vista is a single-street community of 18 custom-built luxury homes amongst greenspace and situated across from Cuyahoga Valley National Park in the Village of Richfield, Ohio
This subdivision comprises the cul-de-sac street of Prairie Vista Ct, located 0.1 miles west of Revere Rd, off the south side of Wheatley Rd.
Homes were constructed exclusively by Petros Homes between 2007-2014.
Homes are mostly styled as modern farmhouse with stone accents, but there are a couple of homes with stone and stucco or full brick facades.
With finished basements, these homes range from 3,200-5,700 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 3.5-5.5 bathrooms. There is also an 11,000-square-foot home with 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.
These homes feature hardwood flooring, two-story foyers, dual staircases with wrought iron balusters, formal dining rooms, private dens, and two-story/vaulted great rooms with fireplaces and floor-to-ceiling windows that open to kitchens featuring an abundance of quartz or granite countertops, a breakfast bar , walk-in pantry, dinette area and/or morning room or sunroom. First-floor owner’s suites include vaulted or tray ceilings, fireplaces, large walk-in closets and bathrooms with custom tiled walk-in showers with sprays, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Finished lower levels (some are coveted walkouts!) are complete with media or theater rooms, kitchenettes, bars and exercise rooms.
Oversized side-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars.
Homes are serviced by public sewer and water.
Lots range from 0.77 to 1.3 acres.
All but three homes back to the 25 acres of HOA-owned greenspace (designated in yellow on map above). The western side of the street has wooded lots and/or views of wooded greenspace. The homesites and greenspace on the eastern side are cleared for views of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park forest along the east side of Revere Rd.

The subdivision of Prairie Vista is located in the southeastern section of the Village of Richfield, Ohio, off the south side of Wheatley Rd, 0.1 miles west of Revere Rd.
This development is ideally located to highways with only 2 min to I-77, 4 min to I-271, 6 min to I-80/Turnpike, and 15 min to I-71.
Nearby outdoor recreation amenities are plentiful! The aforementioned Cuyahoga Valley National Park borders the development to the east, offering 33,000-acres including the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad. Richfield Heritage Preserve is 7 min away, offering 336 wooded acres with hiking trails that include a portion of the Buckeye Trail, winding streams, two lakes for fishing and non-motorized watersports, and a horse barn with five miles of bridle trails. Eastwood Preserve is an 8 min drive, offering 28 acres with an educational facility, hiking trails, a fishing lake, and a community garden. The Cleveland Metroparks’ Hinckley Reservation is only a 10 min drive with 2,803 acres including twenty miles of all-purpose trails, bridle trails, a 90-acre lake (Hinckley Lake) with a boathouse for water sport rentals, a beach, swimming pool, two smaller fishing ponds also used for ice fishing and skating come winter, stone carvings at Worden’s Ledges, and its most notable feature–the porous sandstone outcroppings of Whipp’s Ledges.
