North Fork Estates is a community of 18 custom-designed luxury homes in Bath Township (Akron), Ohio located off the west side of N Cleveland Massillon Rd, 0.2 miles south of W Bath Rd, comprising the streets of N Fork Dr and Rambling Way.

This subdivision was developed by Dan Marchetta and custom-built from 1981-1986. Other builders include Slifko. Most homes have since been updated.

Individually designed facades vary in style including eclectic revival, Southern colonial, English manor, and traditional full-brick colonials, presenting an interesting and unique streetscape.

These colonial and ranch homes mainly range from 4,200-6,200+ square feet with 3-7 bedrooms and 3.5-6.5+ bathrooms.

Homes are exquisitely appointed with amenities like open floorplans, dramatic two-story foyers with open staircases, hardwood flooring, soaring vaulted and beamed ceilings, extensive millwork, vaulted great rooms with fireplaces and floor-to-ceiling windows, formal living and dining rooms, private dens with built-ins, sunrooms, back staircases, and laundry rooms with cabinets. Kitchens feature breakfast bar seating, walk-in pantry, and dinette area. Owner’s retreats include walk-in closets and bathrooms with tiled walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Full finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) are complete with theater or media rooms, kitchens/kitchenettes, bars, exercise rooms, and storage areas. Side-entry garages accommodate 3-4 cars.

Homes have well water. This is one of the few neighborhoods in Bath with public sewer (no septic!).

From its entrance, N Fork Dr climbs uphill about 45 feet and intersects the dual cul-de-sac street of Rambling Way.

Homeowner’s Association fees in North Folk Estates are approximately $150 annually.

This neighborhood is served by the top-ranked Revere Local School District with bussing to St. Hilary’s and the prestigious Old Trail School.

It is bordered to the south by Robinwood Hills.

Just 9 min away is Allardale Park with hiking and equestrian trails, a picnic shelter and indoor lodge. Bath Nature Preserve is also 8 min away with hiking and equestrian trails, two ponds for catch-and-release fishing, sled riding, and cross country skiing. The Cleveland Metroparks’ Hinckley Reservation is an 11 min drive with 2,803 acres including twenty miles of all-purpose trails, bridle trails, a 90-acre lake (Hinckley Lake) with a boathouse for water sport rentals, a beach, swimming pool, two smaller fishing ponds also used for ice fishing and skating come winter, stone carvings at Worden’s Ledges, and its most notable feature–the porous sandstone outcroppings of Whipp’s Ledges. Hinckley Reservation is also home to the annual festival known as Buzzard’s Day, which celebrates the return of the turkey vulture to the area around mid-March. Eastwood Preserve is 11 min, offering 28 acres with an educational facility, hiking trails, a fishing lake, and a community garden. Also 11 min away is Richfield Heritage Preserve, offering 336 wooded acres with hiking trails that include a portion of the Buckeye Trail, winding streams, two lakes for fishing and non-motorized watersports, and a horse barn with five miles of bridle trails.

If you’re a golfer, you are 14 min to Loyal Oak Golf Course, 15 min to J. E Good Park Golf Course, and 16 min to Mud Run Golf Course. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, you’re 13 min to St. Bernard Golf Club and 17 min to The Sharon Golf Club.

Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts are a 20 min drive for skiing and tubing during the winter months.
