About Forest Run in Richfield
Forest Run is a picturesque community of forty custom-built homes with heavily wooded lots and beautiful rolling terrain, across from Summit Metro Park’s Furnace Run Brushwood Area.
This subdivision is located along the northwest edge of Richfield Township, Ohio, off the west side of Townsend Rd, 0.4 miles south of W Snowville Rd. It encompasses the residential streets of Forest Run Dr (aka Forest Run Rd), Timber Edge Dr, Tall Timbers Dr, Deer Run Rd, one home at 3805 Deer Run Oval, and nine homes fronting Townsend Rd.

Forest Run homes were constructed by custom builders including Prestige Homes and Tony Paskevich primarily between 1979-1996. The final homes were built in 2021 and 2025.
Floorplans include ranch, split-level and two-story styles ranging from 4,200-12,000 square feet with 4-5 bedrooms and 3-8.5+ bathrooms.
Since these homes were custom-built over several decades, they feature a mix of styles that create an interesting and unique streetscape.
Inside, you’ll find desirable features including hardwood or LVP flooring, extensive millwork, custom ceilings, large laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, dramatic two-story foyers with open staircases, formal dining rooms with butler’s pantry, formal living rooms and/or private dens with built-ins, sunrooms, and fireplaced great rooms with two-story/vaulted ceilings that open to large kitchens featuring an abundance of quartz or granite countertops, a breakfast bar, serving buffet, walk-in pantry, and dinette area. First or second-floor owner’s suites include vaulted or tray ceilings, sitting areas, large walk-in closets with built-ins, and spa-like bathrooms with soaking tubs and/or walk-in showers, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Some homes boast in-law/guest suites! Finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) may have media or theater rooms, kitchenettes, bars, wine cellars, and exercise rooms.
Attached front or side-entry garages accommodate 3-7 cars.
Residences have well water and septic tanks.
Backyards are primed for outdoor living with professional landscaping, custom patios and/or composite decks, covered or screened porches, verandas, water features, ponds, fire pits or fireplaces, and even in-ground pools.
Lots mainly range from 2.2 to 3.6 acres. There are also seven homes with larger lots ranging from 4.2 to 8.2 acres.
Each homesite is heavily wooded, completely enveloping homes and offering the ultimate in privacy.
This development features undulating topography, offering a picturesque and visually dynamic landscape.
⚠️FLOOD HAZARD: Several tributary streams intersect this development, and Furnace Run crosses numerous properties along the east end. Stream-adjacent properties are enhanced by scenic, rolling or ravined topography. Several lots surrounding Furnace Run have wetlands and/or designated Flood Hazards. View FEMA Flood Map.
⚡POWER LINES: Bordering the south end of Timber Edge Dr is a 190′ wide cleared utility easement with two rows of high-voltage steel frame power lines, for those concerned about health and safety, property values or visual encumbrance.
The entrance to Forest Run Dr is flanked by old-fashioned lantern-style light posts and wooden three-rail ranch-style fencing.
Tall Timbers Dr and Timber Edge Dr have full cul-de-sacs.
To the west, Deer Run Ovl adjoins the subdivision of Deer Run Oval.
This neighborhood is served by the top-ranked Revere Local School District.
