South Rim Reserve is a community of thirty custom-built homes with 1+ acre lots in Valley City (Liverpool Township), Ohio.

This subdivision is located off the east side of Columbia Rd, 0.3 miles south of Center Rd. It comprises the entirety of S Rim Cir, the northern portion of Greenbriar Run (house numbers 1537 to 1597), and three homes on Columbia Rd (house numbers 1551, 1565 & 1577).

South Rim Reserve homes were constructed by custom builders including Hearth Homes and Mason Builders from 1998-2006.

These ranch and two-story homes range from 3,200-4,800+ square feet (including finished basements) with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-4.5 bathrooms.

First floor amenities and principal rooms include hardwood or LVP flooring, two-story foyers, large laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, private dens with closets (or additional bedroom), formal dining rooms with tray ceilings, and fireplacded great rooms (many are vaulted or two-story) that open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, a center island, breakfast bar, walk-in pantry, and dinette area.

First or second-floor owner’s suites include spacious bedrooms with vaulted or tray ceilings, a walk-in closet, and en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, soaking tub, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed commode.

Finished lower levels (a few are coveted walkouts!) offer even more living space with media rooms, bars, billiard areas, and exercise rooms.

Attached side-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars. A number of homes also have detached garages or outbuildings.

Homes are serviced with public water and sewer.

Backyards feature stamped patios and/or composite decks, fire pits, and covered living areas.

Most lots measure around 1 acre. There are also a few larger lots ranging from 1.9 to 3.7 acres.

Previously used as cropland, most lots were cleared meadows. Since development, numerous homeowners have planted trees for privacy.

Some homesites along the north side of S Rim Cir and its cul-de-sac boast wooded backyards, offering privacy and timbered views.

The entrance to S Rim Cir is flanked by landscaped beds with masonry signage walls.

S Rim Cir is enhanced by a landscaped cul-de-sac.

As with most neighborhood streets in Valley City, there are no curbs or sidewalks.

To the south, Greenbriar Run adjoins the subdivision of Wolf Run Estates.

There are no Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at South Rim Reserve.

The neighborhood is served by Buckeye Local School District. The school campus is conveniently 6 minutes south.

Bordering this community to the northwest is Whitetail Ridge, and to the northeast is Hickory Hollow.

You are 8 min from the 3-mile crushed limestone Lester Rail Trail, which connects to York Township Community Park with a playground, pond, large pavilion, sledding hill, and an outdoor ice skating area.

Numerous golf courses are accessible in 10 minutes or less, including Cosset Creek, Bunker Hill, Coppertop, Pleasant Valley, and Shale Creek.
