About Emerald Woods in Columbia Station
Emerald Woods is a new construction community of 2-story single-family homes and limited-maintenance cluster homes by Pulte Homes, located in northeast Columbia Station, Ohio, off the east side of Boone Rd, just south of Snell Rd.
Previously the site of a golf course by the same name, Emerald Woods homes are surrounded by 160 acres of reserved common area.

The cohesive streetscape is lined with modern farmhouse/Craftsman styles featuring varied combinations of brick/stone, mixed-texture siding profiles, white fascia trim, gable accents, and covered front entryways that may include extended porches with space for seating to foster chats with passing neighbors.
Homes were constructed beginning in 2021. Upon completion, the 300+ acre subdivision will include approximately 587 homes.
NOTE: Homes are served by either Columbia Local School District (pink and green parcels on above map) or Strongsville City School District (purple lots on above map), as specified in the sections below.
This subdivision encompasses two categories of 2-story single-family homes (‘The Crossings’ and ‘Reserves’) and a section of limited-maintenance homes (‘The Retreat’).

The Crossings at Emerald Woods 2-Story Homes:
The Crossings 2-story homes comprise the northern half of the community (light green parcels on above map), which includes Audreys Way, Celestine Way, Kims Trl, Park Ct, Pine Valley Dr, Victory Ln, the western part of Rebecca Ln, and the northern part of Challenge Way and Kathleen Dr.




Pulte is offering five 2-story floorplans for The Crossings, ranging from 1,893-3,005+ square feet with 3-4 bedrooms and 2.5-3.5 bathrooms.
These homes may include hardwood/LVP flooring, designated foyers, garage entry mud halls or mudrooms with cubbies/benches, flex rooms and/or formal dining rooms, and open-concept living spaces with fireplaced great rooms, dining areas, and kitchens with islands and walk-in pantries. All bedrooms (including owner’s suite) are on the second floor, along with a side-by-side capacity laundry room, and even a loft. Homes have full basements. Front-entry garages accommodate 2 cars.
Outdoor living is enjoyed on patios and/or decks.
The Crossings has smaller homesites, measuring approximately 55′ wide x 135′ deep and ranging from 0.16 to 0.26 acres. Lots are cleared of any old-growth trees.
Homes along the northeast and northwest corners overlook retention (wet) ponds for serene water views.
The large parcel of common area in the center of The Crossings houses a retention basin.

The Reserve at Emerald Woods 2-Story Homes:
The Reserve comprises roughly 90 two-story homes at the eastern end of the community (lavender parcels on map above), along the eastern ends of Davids Ct, Rebecca Ln, St Andrews Dr, and Wallys Way.




There are five 2-story floorplans available for The Reserve, ranging from 2,609-3,300+ square feet with 4-5 bedrooms and 2.5-3.5 bathrooms.
The Reserve 2-story homes may include designated foyers, hardwood/LVP flooring, garage entry mud halls or mudrooms with cubbies/benches, pocket offices, flex rooms and/or formal dining rooms, and open-concept living spaces with fireplaced great rooms, dining areas, and kitchens with islands and walk-in pantries. Second floors house all bedrooms (including owner’s suite) and may also have a loft. Homes have full basements. Front-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars (3rd bay may be tandem) and even storage/work areas.
Outdoor living spaces include decks and/or patios.
The Reserve homesites are wider, measuring approximately 70′ wide x 145′ deep and ranging from 0.23 to 0.29 acres. Lots are cleared of any old-growth trees.

The Retreat at Emerald Woods Limited-Maintenance Cluster Homes:
The Retreat at Emerald Woods features limited-maintenance living (lawn care and snow removal included) so there’s more time to spend on the things you enjoy!
The Retreat cluster homes occupy the southwest half of the community (salmon-colored parcels on the above map), encompassing the streets of Annabell Dr, Heatherstone Trl, Valley Ct, the southern portion of Challenge Way and Kathleen Dr, and the west end of St Andrews Dr and Wallys Way.




Pulte Homes is offering four ranch floorplans, each of which can include a partial second level (1.5-story house).
These ranch and 1.5-story cluster homes range from 1,646-3,300 square feet with 2-4 bedrooms and 2-3.5 bathrooms.
The Retreat at Emerald Woods cluster homes may include LVP flooring, garage entry mud halls or mudrooms with cubbies/benches, side-by-side capacity laundry rooms, flex rooms or private dens, and great rooms with fireplaces that are open to kitchens with center islands, walk-in pantry, and dining area. Second levels can include additional bedrooms, bathrooms, lofts/living spaces, and storage rooms. Front-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars (3rd space is tandem). These homes have slab foundations (no basement).
Outdoor living spaces include a patio and/or covered patio.
The Retreat homesites measure approximately 55′ wide x 130′ deep and range from 0.17 to 0.33 acres. Lots are cleared of any old-growth trees.
The northwest end of St Andrews Dr abuts a detention basin.
The Retreat residents attend Columbia Local Schools.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees for The Retreat limited-maintenance cluster homes are approximately $375 annually, plus $125 monthly for lawn care and snow removal.
Emerald Woods has two entrances off the east side of Boone Rd via Audreys Way or Heatherstone Trl. Each is flanked by large landscaped beds with stone pillars and signage.

There are curbs and sidewalks on both sides of the street throughout Emerald Woods.
With the exception of a few tree groupings within the common area, the entirety of the development is cleared. Privacy is achieved with tree plantings.
Post is delivered to mailbox kiosks.
Directly southeast is Royal Crest Golf Club.

The development of Emerald Woods is near the border of Strongsville in northeast Columbia Station, located off the east side of Boone Rd, just south of Snell Rd.
Highways are accessible in 13 min to I-71 and 15 min to I-80/Turnpike.
SouthPark Mall and Strongsville’s bustling retail sector is a 13-min drive.
There are plenty of nearby recreational opportunities.
