Heather Lane is a community of 24 homes with 1+ acre lots in northeast Columbia Station, Ohio. This subdivision is located off the south side of Snell Rd, 0.2 miles east of E River Rd, and comprises the streets of E Heather Ln and W Heather Ln, as well as ten homes fronting Snell Rd.


Homes were built from 1996-2000.
This development includes ranch and two-story styles ranging from 1,800-4,100 square feet with 3-6 bedrooms and 2.5-4 bathrooms.
Facades are traditionally styled with vinyl siding and/or brick.
Heather Lane homes include hardwood flooring, laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, formal living rooms and/or private dens, formal dining rooms, and great rooms with fireplaces that are open to kitchens featuring quartz or granite countertops, tile backsplash, pantry, dining area, and even sunrooms. Owner’s suites (second-floor in 2-story homes) feature walk-in closets, and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, jetted/soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Finished lower levels are available with recreation rooms, wet bars, exercise rooms, and bathrooms. Attached front-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars. Many homes have detached garages or sheds.
Homes have septic systems and public water.

Lightly treed homesites range from 1 to 2.76 acres. There is also one lot measuring 8.5 acres.
A drainage ditch borders the rear property line of lots around the east and south ends of the development.
The development is lined with lantern-style street lights.
As with many Columbia Station neighborhoods, there are no curbs or sidewalks in this community. However, there are sidewalks along the north side of Snell Rd.
It is not connected to any other subdivision, so traffic is limited to residents and their guests.
This community is served by Columbia Local School District.
There are no Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Heather Lane.
Hunting Meadows is across the street.

The development of Heather Lane is near the border of Strongsville in northeast Columbia Station, located off the south side of Snell Rd, 0.2 miles east of E River Rd.
Highways are accessible in 13 min to I-71, 14 min to I-80/Turnpike, and 15 min to I-480.
SouthPark Mall and Strongsville’s bustling retail sector is a 13-min drive.
There are plenty of nearby recreational opportunities. The city’s Columbia Township Park (5 min drive) is home to ball fields, tennis and basketball courts, a volleyball court, horseshoe pits, pavilions, a playground, and a walking path. The park also hosts various events year-round. You are 7 min from Lorain County Metro Parks’ Columbia Reservation with 425-acres characterized by open scenic views transversed by The Rocky River, numerous lakes and ponds, kayak/canoe access, 4 miles of trails, a playground, 18-hole mini-golf course, picnic shelters, a pizzeria & ice cream parlor, and an outdoor movie theatre. It’s 10 min to Cleveland Metroparks’ Mill Stream Run Reservation with extensive trails, Wallace Lake and beach, rope courses and zip lines, as well as The Chalet, which has two toboggan chutes that are open in the winter.
Swings-N-Things Fun Park is 12 minutes away – offering 13 acres of indoor and outdoor fun including two go-kart tracks, two 18-hole miniature golf courses, bumper boats, batting cages, indoor playground, a two-story game room, paintball, and homemade ice cream.
Columbia Station has three public 18-hole courses — Creekwood, Hickory Nut, and Royal Crest — as well as a 36-hole course at Mallard Creek.
