Cobblestone is a community of 34 homes with 2+ acre lots in Columbia Station, Ohio, located 0.4 miles south of Sprague Rd between Jaquay Rd and Station Rd, with entrances off each. It comprises the streets of Cobblestone Trl and Sandstone Trl, five homes on Station Rd (odd house numbers 10129-10497), and one home on Jaquay Rd (house number 10468).

Homes were built from 2002-2019 by Gill Design Group and Bennett.

The ranch and two-story homes of Cobblestone mainly range from 2,700-6,100 square feet with 3-6 bedrooms and 3-5.5+ bathrooms. Facades are traditionally styled and accented with brick or stone.

Amenities include hardwood flooring, laundry rooms with cabinets and utility tubs, garage entryways with cubbies/benches, two-story foyers, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings, and fireplaced great rooms with two-story or volume ceilings that are open to kitchens with granite or quartz countertops, a breakfast bar, walk-in pantry, dinette area, and even a sunroom. First-floor owner’s suites offer tray or vaulted ceilings, walk-in closets, and en suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking/jetted tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed commodes. Second floors include bonus/activity rooms. Finished lower levels are complete with bars, kitchens, media rooms, billiard rooms, and/or gyms. Homes have attached 3-4 car garages, most side-entry.

Homes have septic systems and public water.

Outdoor living is complete with decks and/or patios, covered living areas, fireplaces or fire pits, and even above or in-ground pools.

Homesites mainly range from 2 to 2.2 acres, but there are some larger lots measuring 3.47, 4.0, and 5.01 acres.

Properties have side yard or backyard landscape privacy mounds.

Apart from the landscape mounds, the topography of the development is flat.

Other than five lots at the northeast corner with wooded backyards, the remaining properties are cleared, offering wide open vistas.

This development has lantern-style street lights, but true to country living, no curbs or sidewalks.

The development of Cobblestone is in northwest Columbia Station near the border of Olmsted Falls/Olmsted Township. It is located between Jaquay Rd and Station Rd, 0.4 miles south of Sprague Rd.

Highways are accessible in 11 min to both I-80/Turnpike and I-480, and 16 min to I-71.

Great Northern Mall and North Olmsted’s bustling retail sector is a 14-min drive.

There are plenty of nearby recreational opportunities. The city’s Columbia Township Park (7 min drive) is home to ball fields, tennis and basketball courts, a volleyball court, horseshoe pits, pavilions, a playground, and a walking path. The park also hosts various events year-round. You are also 7 min from Lorain County Metro Parks’ Columbia Reservation with 425-acres characterized by open scenic views transversed by The Rocky River, numerous lakes and ponds, kayak/canoe access, 4 miles of trails, a playground, 18-hole mini-golf course, picnic shelters, a pizzeria & ice cream parlor, and an outdoor movie theatre. It’s 15 min to Cleveland Metroparks’ Mill Stream Run Reservation with extensive trails, Wallace Lake and beach, rope courses and zip lines, as well as The Chalet, which has two toboggan chutes that are open in the winter. 

Swings-N-Things Fun Park is 8 min away – offering 13 acres of indoor and outdoor fun including two go-kart tracks, two 18-hole miniature golf courses, bumper boats, batting cages, indoor playground, a two-story game room, paintball, and homemade ice cream.

Columbia Station has three public 18-hole courses — Creekwood, Hickory Nut, and Royal Crest — as well as a 36-hole course at Mallard Creek.
