Baker Creek Estates is a community of 73 production-built single-family homes in northeast Columbia Station, Ohio. This subdivision is located on the north side of Snell Rd between N Marks Rd and East River Rd, and comprises the streets of Baker Creek Ln and Creek View Way.
These homes were constructed by Drees Homes and Garland New Homes between 2021-2025.

Drees offered ten floorplans from which to personalize, including ranch and two-story styles, ranging from 2,300-4,300 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2-4+ bathrooms.
Garland offered 24 customizable floorplans and also designed custom homes.
Amenities in Baker Creek Estates homes may include hardwood flooring, mud hall cubbies/benches, separate laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, planning desks/pocket offices, flex rooms and/or private dens, great rooms (some two-story) with fireplaces and large windows that are open to kitchens featuring quartz or granite countertops, tile backsplash, center island with seating, walk-in pantry, dining area, and even sunrooms. Owner’s suites (many are first-floor) feature vaulted or tray ceilings, sitting areas with fireplaces, walk-in closets, and spa-like baths with soaking tubs and/or custom tiled walk-in showers, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Finished lower levels are available with recreation rooms, wet bars, and bathrooms. Attached garages accommodate 2-3 cars.
Cleared homesites offer wide-open vistas. Privacy is achieved with fencing and/or plantings.
Homesites measure ≥70′ wide x 150-275′ deep and range from 0.24 to 0.62 acres.
With setbacks from the street measuring approximately 45′ and as little as 20′ between some homes, certain lots will not satisfy the level of privacy some buyers desire.
HOA-owned greenspace/common area is designated in green on the above map.
Homes along the west side of Creek View Way back to a 12.55-acre parcel of densely forested HOA-owned common land, offering abutting homes privacy and lush views of nature.
⚠️Baker Creek, for which the community is named, flows through the aforementioned greenspace parcel west of Creek View Way, where there are designated flood hazards. View FEMA Flood Map.
The northwest end of Baker Creek Ln abuts a large greenspace parcel with a small stream and retention pond.
⚡While the utility lines for this community are all underground, there is a row of high-voltage H-frame steel pole transmission lines that run east-west just beyond the north end of the community, for those with sensitivities or concerns about visual encumbrance or property values.
The entrances to Baker Creek Ln and Creek View Way are flanked by landscape beds with masonry signage.
Both streets have curbs and sidewalks.
With no connection to another community, traffic is limited to residents and their guests.
This community is served by Columbia Local School District.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Baker Creek Estates are approximately $480 annually.
This development is bordered by Redfern Farms to the north and northwest, and by Fairway to the east.

You are 8 min from Lorain County Metro Parks’ Columbia Reservation with 425-acres characterized by open scenic views transversed by The Rocky River, numerous lakes and ponds, kayak/canoe access, 4 miles of trails, a playground, 18-hole mini-golf course, picnic shelters, a pizzeria & ice cream parlor, and an outdoor movie theatre. It’s 10 min to Cleveland Metroparks’ Mill Stream Run Reservation with extensive trails, Wallace Lake and beach, rope courses and zip lines, as well as The Chalet, which has two toboggan chutes that are open in the winter.
Swings-N-Things Fun Park is 12 minutes away – offering 13 acres of indoor and outdoor fun including two go-kart tracks, two 18-hole miniature golf courses, bumper boats, batting cages, indoor playground, a two-story game room, paintball, and homemade ice cream.
Columbia Station has three public 18-hole courses — Creekwood, Hickory Nut, and Royal Crest — as well as a 36-hole course at Mallard Creek.
