Twin Creeks Custom-Built Homes

About Twin Creeks of Independence

Twin Creeks is a quiet single-street cul-de-sac community of ten custom-built homes perched above meandering streams and the picturesque backdrop of Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Independence, Ohio. This subdivision encompasses Twin Creeks Ct, which is located 0.6 miles east of Brecksville Rd, off the north side of Hillside Rd.

Homes were constructed from 2010-2016 by builders including Marek Builders and Petros Homes.

Complementary styled facades are accented with elegant brick or stone, various vinyl siding profiles, and white fascia trim, creating a homogeneous streetscape.

Building requirements for this development stipulated a minimum above-ground square footage of 2,400 for 1.5-story homes and 2,700 for colonials.

With finished basements, these two-story homes range from 3,500-6,000 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 3.5-5 bathrooms.

Twin Creeks homes are appointed with desirable amenities including first floor laundry rooms with cabinets and utility tubs, mud halls with cubbies, two-story foyers with turned or curved staircases, ceramic tile and hardwood flooring, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings, private dens, vaulted or two-story great rooms with fireplaces, and spacious kitchens with granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, a center island, breakfast bar seating, and walk-in pantry. First or second floor owner’s suites include walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms with soaking/jetted tubs and/or custom tiled walk-in showers, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed commodes. Finished lower levels (some are coveted walkouts!) may include media rooms, kitchenettes, bars, wine cellars, exercise rooms and storage rooms. Attached front or side-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars.

Living is extended outdoors with professionally designed gardens, custom patios and/or composite decks, and fireplaces or fire pits.

Lots are sized from 0.46 to 0.88 acres.

Nearly every backyard is treed and/or abuts the privacy of the park’s forest (designated in green on the above-illustrated map), which surrounds the development on three sides.

A creek meanders through the backyards of homes along the south side of the street and another, just beyond the property lines of homes along the north end of the development, offering scenic sloping or ravined topography. When not designated as a flood zone (view FEMA Flood Map), natural waterways are considered an environmental asset that positively impacts home values.

⚡POWER LINES: A row of high voltage (HV) steel lattice tower transmission lines crosses the backyards of homes along the east end of the community, for those with concerns about health and safety, visual encumbrance or property values. A transmission tower is present on the property of 7041 Twin Creeks Ct.

Twin Creeks Ct is lined by lantern-style streetlights, street trees, curbs and sidewalks. The cul-de-sac is ornamented by a decorative tree surrounded by brick pavers.

Newly completed sidewalks extend from the development all the way to Brecksville Rd, enhancing walkability.

Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Twin Creeks are approximately $450 annually.

This neighborhood is served by the top-rated Independence Local School District.
