About Battery Park Edgewater Townhomes
Located in the northwest section of Battery Park, Edgewater Townhomes include four 3-story contemporary residences offering limited-maintenance living, a full balcony deck, and a rooftop terrace with unobstructed views of Lake Erie, Edgewater Park and the downtown Cleveland cityscape.
Battery Park sits on the former site of the Eveready Battery Company (later branded Energizer Battery) factory. The site was remediated and then transformed into a residential urban redevelopment project around 2006. Today it is the largest housing development in the City of Cleveland, comprised of freestanding single-family homes, townhouses and apartments between W 70th to W 76th Streets. The historic Eveready Powerhouse building was renovated to include a brewery and restaurant. Its illuminated smokestack is a prominent lakefront landmark.
Catering to active lifestyles, Battery Park boasts direct access to the 147-acre lakefront Edgewater Park & Beach and the Cleveland Lakefront Bikeway, as well as walkability to the myriad dining and entertainment offerings of the renowned Gordon Square Arts District.
Battery Park’s Edgewater Townhomes were constructed by Marous Builders’ family-led Vintage Development Group in 2016.
The Edgewater complex includes 4 units located at the terminus of Father Frascati Drive between W 76th Street & Powerhouse Drive. Addresses are 7535, 7537, 7539 & 7541 Father Frascati Drive.
In composition with the site’s smokestack past and the red brick exteriors of adjacent historic buildings, The Shoreway apartments (originally built for Globe Machine and Stamping Company) and Eveready Powerhouse, exteriors incorporate modern industrial styling with orthogonal lines, flat roofs, glass balustrade balconies, dark brown vinyl casement and picture windows, and facades of brown brick with metal accents. To differentiate units, each has a contrasting shade of brown brick.
Contemporary design continues to the interior with open floor plans, clean lines, wood flooring, simple sleek finishes, glass balustrades, and large transom-topped windows that maximize views and natural light.
With three stories, Edgewater Townhomes offer 2,273-3,916* square feet with 2-3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms.
Edgewater Townhomes were the second of Battery Park’s “Luxury Collection.” Targeting the upper-income market, these luxury townhouses include high-end features like granite/quartz countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms, plank hardwood floors, and high-end stainless steel appliances.
