About Park Place Townhomes at Battery Park
Battery Park‘s final phase of townhouses, Park Place Townhomes, includes 25 three-story residences offering limited-maintenance living and three levels of outdoor living spaces (front porch, full balcony deck, and rooftop terrace) with potential views of Lake Erie, Edgewater Park and/or the downtown Cleveland cityscape.
The upscale urban development of Battery Park sits on the former site of the Eveready Battery Company (later branded Energizer Battery) factory. The site was remediated and then developed into a residential urban redevelopment project around 2006. Today it is the largest housing development in the City of Cleveland, comprised of freestanding single-family homes, townhouses and apartments spanning W 70th to W 76th Streets north of Goodwalt Ave. The factory’s historic Powerhouse Building, with its illuminated landmark smokestack, was renovated to include a restaurant and brewery for proximate dining and socialization.
Catering to active lifestyles, Battery Park’s townhouses have direct access to the 147-acre Edgewater Park & Beach and the Cleveland Lakefront Bikeway. You’re also a short walk from the extensive dining and entertainment offerings of the renowned Gordon Square Arts District.
Designed by Payto Architects and constructed by Marous Builders’ family-led Vintage Development Group in 2022, Park Place Townhomes were the final phase of townhomes built in Battery Park. View the site plan and exterior renderings.
These townhouses are located in the northern section of Battery Park.

The Park Place complex comprises 25 units across four buildings: one row of 6, two rows of 5, and one row of 9 units.
Reflecting the site’s foundry roots, exteriors have industrial-inspired contemporary designs with bold geometric shapes, wall panels, oversized black vinyl windows, metal and cable balcony railings, and facades with muted shades of red and orange brick, fiber cement board panels, steel accents, and either slanted or flat rooflines.
Contemporary design is reprised inside with open floor plans, clean lines, wood flooring, simple sleek finishes, and large transom-topped casement and picture windows that maximize views and natural light.
