The Sanctuary of Olmsted is located along the border of North Olmsted in northern Olmsted Township, Ohio, off the south side of John Rd, between Fitch and Columbia Roads.
Highways are conveniently accessible in 5 min to I-480, 10 min to I-71, and 12 min to I-80/Turnpike.
Downtown Olmsted Falls is 5 min away. Its fully restored Victorian shopping village, Grand Pacific Junction, has over 30 unique shops, restaurants and services.
Great Northern Mall and North Olmsted’s bustling retail sector is only a 5-min drive.
Surrounding recreational opportunities are abundant! At the corner of Columbia Rd and Water St (4 min drive) is Village Green Park, a 3-acre parcel with two full-size basketball courts, horseshoes, a gazebo, a schoolhouse replica pavilion, picnic tables and grills, and the newly renovated playground and splash pad. Lorain County Metro Parks’ Columbia Reservation is a 15 min drive with 425-acres characterized by open scenic views transversed by The Rocky River, numerous lakes and ponds, kayak/canoe access, 4 miles of trails, a playground, 18-hole mini-golf course, picnic shelters, a pizzeria & ice cream parlor, and an outdoor movie theatre.
