About The Preserve of Olmsted in Olmsted Township
Formerly the site of The Links Golf Course, The Preserve of Olmsted is a new construction community of 89 homes by Pulte Homes in northern Olmsted Township, Ohio.
This development is located off the south side of John Rd, 0.3 miles east of Fitch Rd. It encompasses Daisy Ln, Sunset Dr, the cul-de-sac street of Garden Path, and the west end of Grand View Dr.
The east end of Grand View Dr (light blue parcels on below map) will be occupied by the to-be-built sister subdivision, The Sanctuary of Olmsted.
Homes were constructed beginning in 2022.
Pulte is offering seven floorplans including 2-story and ranch designs ranging from 1,646-2,875 square feet (excluding finished basements) with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-4.5 bathrooms. With finished basements, homes can span 3,800+ square feet.
Facades are Craftsman-inspired/modern farmhouse designs with a combination of stone wrap, mixed-texture siding profiles (vertical, horizontal and/or shake), white window trim & fascia trim/rake board, and/or gable accents. Most homes have a covered front entryway, some with extended front porches for seating that welcomes casual chats with neighbors.
Inside, these homes have designated foyers, LVP flooring, 9′ first-floor ceilings, garage-entry mud halls with cubbies and a bench, dining rooms and/or sunrooms (select models), flex rooms or private dens, planning centers (some models), and open-concept living areas with fireplaced great rooms and kitchens featuring recessed lighting, granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, center islands with pendant lights and breakfast bar seating, walk-in pantry, and dining area. Owner’s suites (second floor in 2-story homes) offer sitting areas (certain models), walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms with soaking tubs and/or tiled walk-in showers, dual sink vanities, and enclosed commodes. Second floors also feature laundry rooms and lofts (select models). Finished lower levels include bars, media rooms, exercise rooms, and storage areas.
Attached front-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars.
Backyards are enhanced by patios and/or composite decks.
Homesites measure approximately 60′ wide x 120′ deep and range from 0.16 to 0.30 acres.
The Preserve of Olmsted is surrounded by 11.35 acres of HOA-owned common area (dark green sections on above map) offering meadow or pond views.
Garden Path and Sunset Dr have full cul-de-sacs; Daisy Ln has two knuckle (partial) cul-de-sacs.
Streets include curbs and sidewalks on both sides of the street.
Mail is delivered to the cluster box units near the eastern intersection of Daisy Ln and Grand View Dr.
Residences are served by the highly-rated Olmsted Falls City Schools. The Early Childhood Center (preschool) is 1.2 miles away (3 min drive).
Bordering this subdivision to the south is the 55+ manufactured-home community of Columbia Hills.
Homeowners’ Association (HOA) fees at The Preserve of Olmsted are approximately $515 annually.

The Preserve of Olmsted is located in northern Olmsted Township, Ohio along the border of North Olmsted, off the south side of John Rd, between Fitch and Columbia Roads.
Highways are conveniently accessible in 5 min to I-480, 10 min to I-71, and 12 min to I-80/Turnpike.
Downtown Olmsted Falls is 5 min away. Its fully restored Victorian shopping village, Grand Pacific Junction, has over 30 unique shops, restaurants and services.
Great Northern Mall and North Olmsted’s bustling retail sector is only a 5-min drive.
Surrounding recreational opportunities are abundant! At the corner of Columbia Rd and Water St (4 min drive) is Village Green Park, a 3-acre parcel with two full-size basketball courts, horseshoes, a gazebo, a schoolhouse replica pavilion, picnic tables and grills, and the newly renovated playground and splash pad. The Metroparks’ Rocky River Reservation is only a 6 min drive or 16 min bike, offering 2,520 acres with picnic areas, play areas, sledding hills, ball fields, nature trails, paved trails, nature center, stables and bridle trails, a marina, fishing areas, boat rentals, waterfalls and lagoons, and three golf courses. Lorain County Metro Parks’ Columbia Reservation is a 15 min drive with 425-acres characterized by open scenic views transversed by The Rocky River, numerous lakes and ponds, kayak/canoe access, 4 miles of trails, a playground, 18-hole mini-golf course, picnic shelters, a pizzeria & ice cream parlor, and an outdoor movie theatre.
Swings-N-Things Fun Park is 8 min away – offering 13 acres of indoor and outdoor fun including two go-kart tracks, two 18-hole miniature golf courses, bumper boats, batting cages, indoor playground, a two-story game room, paintball, and homemade ice cream.
