About Battery Park Lakeside Townhomes

Aptly named, Lakeside Townhomes are located at the northeast corner of Battery Park on a bluff overlooking Edgewater Park and Lake Erie, offering unobstructed panoramic views of the lake and the downtown Cleveland cityscape from windows and private rooftop decks. Lakeside Townhomes include 20 three-story contemporary residences offering limited-maintenance living.

Battery Park is located on the former site of the Eveready Battery Co. (later branded Energizer Battery) factory. In 2006, the site was remediated and developed into a residential urban redevelopment project. Today Battery Park is the largest housing development in the City of Cleveland, comprised of freestanding single-family homes, townhouses and apartments spanning W 70th to W 76th Streets. The factory’s historic Powerhouse Building, with its lakefront landmark illuminated smokestack, was renovated and includes a brewery and restaurant.

Battery Park caters to active lifestyles with direct pedestrian access to the 147-acre Edgewater Park & Beach and the Cleveland Lakefront Bikeway, and walkability to the extensive dining and entertainment offerings of the renowned Gordon Square Arts District.

Designed by Vocon and constructed by Marous Builders’ family-led Vintage Development Group between 2017-2019, Lakeside Townhomes were the penultimate group of townhouses built in Battery Park.

They are located on the west side of W 70th Street at the terminus of Father Caruso Drive.

Battery Park’s Lakeside townhouse complex comprises 20 units across three buildings.

Contemporary exteriors incorporate orthogonal lines, flat roofs, a mix of black vinyl picture and casement windows that maximize views and natural light, and facades with fiber cement board panels, vertical vinyl siding, deep shades of brick, and rich wood laminate.

With 3 stories, these townhouses feature airy open interiors with 1,836-2,407 square feet and 2-3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.

Lakeside Townhomes were the final section of “Luxury Collection” townhomes. Targeting the upper-income market, these luxury townhomes include high-end features like floating staircases with glass walls, quartz countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms, hardwood floors, designer door hardware, and stainless steel appliances. See the spec sheet.
