About Millridge in North Ridgeville Ohio
Millridge (also spelled Mill Ridge) is a Ryan Homes’ community of 131 production-built homes in northwest North Ridgeville, Ohio. This development is located at the southeast corner of Mills Rd and Stoney Ridge Rd, and encompasses the streets of Barkhurst Mill Dr, Clifton Mill Dr, Gladstone Mill Dr, Kenyon Mill Dr, Rummel Mill Dr, Stockport Mill Dr, and Stratton Mill St.
These homes were constructed exclusively by Ryan Homes in four phases between 2017-2022.
Ryan Homes offered six two-story and ranch floor plans from which to personalize.
Facades are similarly styled as modern farmhouse with a combination of stone accents, mixed-texture siding profiles (horizontal and shake), white window trim & fascia trim/rake board, and/or gable accents. Most homes have a covered front entryway, some with extended front porches for seating that welcome casual chats with neighbors.
Millridge homes mainly range from 1,500-3,800 square feet, with 3-5 bedrooms and 2-4 bathrooms.
Interior features depend on the selected upgrades, size, and layout of the home, which may include LVP flooring, flex rooms and/or private dens, garage entry mud halls with drop zones (benches & cubbies), and open-concept great rooms with fireplaces that open to dining areas and kitchens with granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, center island with breakfast bar seating, and walk-in pantry. Laundry rooms are first-floor in ranch plans and second-floor in two-story homes. First or second-floor owner’s suites include walk-in closets and en-suite baths with soaking tubs and/or walk-in showers, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed commodes. Second levels may have lofts or bonus rooms. Optional finished lower levels are complete with family rooms, exercise rooms, and/or storage rooms. Attached front-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars.
Living is extended outdoors with patios and/or composite decks and even covered living areas.
Backyard fences, sheds, playsets, gardens and in-ground pools are permitted.
Millridge homesites include two lot size categories ranging from 0.11 to 0.58 acres:
- Smaller lots (along Barkhurst Mill Dr and the east end of Stockport Mill Dr) measure 50-55′ wide x 100′ deep, and range from 0.11-0.19 acres. These smaller lots are strategically surrounded by common space (yellow areas on map above) to extend views. Such homesites are typically attractive to buyers with minimal interest in yard work.
- Larger lots are 80-90′ wide x ≥142′ deep and range from 0.29-0.58 acres, affording extra space between homes and additional backyard space for lawn games, playsets, gardens, and sheds, etc.
Previously used as agricultural land, the topography of this subdivision is flat and fully cleared, offering wide open vistas.
With many homes abutting each other, privacy is achieved with plantings.
Homes along the east end of Clifton Mill Dr abut a treeline.
There are roughly 13 acres of HOA-owned common space (yellow areas on above map), which includes five stormwater management ponds and a portion of Slater Ditch and to deter any flooding in the area.
Millridge has two entrances: Rummel Mill Dr from Stoney Ridge Rd and Stratton Mill St from Mills Rd. The Stratton Mill St entrance is flanked by landscape beds with stacked stone signage walls.
Gladstone Mill Dr is the only cul-de-sac, which is enhanced with a grassy island.
The stub street off the south side of Gladstone Mill Dr could be extended and developed with future opportunities.
Millridge streets have lantern-style streetlights, street trees, curbs, and sidewalks so there’s plenty of pavement to skate, bike, and walk the dog.
Mail is delivered to cluster box units.
For those concerned about health and safety, visual encumbrance or noise, several rows of high voltage steel lattice tower transmission lines run along the northeast corner of the subdivision.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Millridge are approximately $300 annually.
This neighborhood is serviced by North Ridgeville City Schools.
Comparable homes nearby can be found in Hampton Place.
North Ridge Pointe is roughtly a half-mile south.

Millridge is located in the northwest section of North Ridgeville, Ohio near the Avon border, at the southeast corner of Mills and Stoney Ridge Roads.
Highways are accessible in 10 min to I-90 and 15 min to both I-480 and I-80/OH Turnpike.
Avon Commons Shopping Center is 10 min away for banking, shops & restaurants including Costco, Heinen’s grocery, GNC, Target, Kohl’s, Walmart, Home Depot, World Market, Michael’s, Marshall’s, Old Navy, Bath & Body Works, Famous Footwear, Panera, IHOP, Friday’s, Applebee’s. It is 12 minutes to Crocker Park—the best shopping on the west side of Cleveland—an expansive open-air collection of restaurants, retail, entertainment & leisure.
As for parks, you are 6 min to Lorain Metro Parks’ Sandy Ridge Reservation—a 526-acre wetland and wildlife preserve with a 2-mile crushed-stone trail, picnic shelters, a playground, and several ponds. Just 8 min away is Avon’s 30-acre South Central Park offers picnic pavilions, a playground, tennis, basketball and sand volleyball courts, a splash pad, and horseshoe pits. Bradley Woods Reservation is a 9 min drive with 828 acres of dense forests, 2+ miles of hiking trails, a walking path encircling a fishing lake, picnic pavilion, greenspace, and monarch butterfly waystation.
The shoreside parks of Lake Erie are only 18 mins away and boaters are roughly 22 min to marinas in Lorain.
Golfers are less than 15 minutes from an array of courses: Bob-O-Link, Creekwood, Hilliard Lakes, Meadowood, Pine Brook, and Valley of the Eagles. Nearby Country Clubs include Red Tail ( 7 min); and Avon Oaks and Lakewood (13 min).
