Lake Isaac Reserve in Middleburg Heights Ohio is an upscale community of brick-front single-family and detached cluster homes abutting the Metroparks’ Big Creek Reservation with the nearby recreation amenities of Mill Stream Run. It is located off the south side of Fowles Rd, 0.7 miles west of I-71.
Residences were constructed exclusively by Tanglewood Homes.

Lake Isaac Single-Family Homes:
The front of the community comprises 28 single-family homes including six homes on Isaac Dr, and the streets of Comstock Cir and Mallard Cove (also called Mallard Cir), each adorned with street trees.
These colonial and cape cod homes were constructed from 1995-2002 and range from 2,900-6,100 square feet with 3-4 bedrooms and 3.5-4.5 bathrooms.
Inside, these elegant homes offer desirable amenities including two-story foyers with open turned staircases, hardwood flooring, first-floor laundry rooms, private dens and/or formal living rooms, formal dining rooms, and fireplaced great rooms (some are two-story) that open to kitchens with granite or quartz countertops, center islands, breakfast bar seating, walk-in pantries, and dinette area or light-filled morning room. Lake Isaac Cluster Homes:
The 13 cluster homes, called Lake Isaac Reserve Villas, encircle the cul-de-sac of Isaac Dr (house numbers 7647-7661).
These freestanding limited-maintenance cluster homes were constructed from 1995-2004. They include cape cod and ranch designs ranging from 1,700-3,600 square feet with 2-4 bedrooms and 2-3.5 bathrooms.
Interior amenities include vaulted ceilings throughout, hardwood flooring, first-floor laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, private dens, open concept formal dining area and living space, and kitchens with granite or quartz countertops, breakfast bar seating, walk-in pantry, and dinette area. Second floors may include lofts. First or second-floor owner’s suites offer walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms with dual sinks, soaking/jetted tubs, and walk-in showers. Full finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) are complete with media rooms, bars and workout rooms. Backyards feature composite decks and/or custom patios. Attached 2-car front-entry garages include hot/cold water, drains, and service doors.
An elongated cul-de-sac also includes a gazebo and a thoughtfully planned parking pad for visitors.
Cluster homes are surrounded by 2.24 acres of common area (yellow section on map above). There is also another triangular 1.8-acre common area parcel directly south of the train tracks.
The southwest side of the cul-de-sac directly abuts the heavily forested Beyer’s Pond area of Big Creek Reservation (parkland is designated in green on above map) for privacy and endless views of nature.
Homeowner’s Association fees for the Villa cluster community are approximately $500 annually plus $500 quarterly, which includes snow removal and lawn care.
